About TrendDepth

Decoding Technology, Markets & Global Change

Why TrendDepth Exists

TrendDepth was created to answer a simple question:

Why do major technological, geopolitical, and economic events reshape the world the way they do?

Many publications focus on reporting what happened. Our goal is different. We focus on explaining why it happened, how different forces are connected, and what those changes could mean over the long term.

Rather than chasing every headline, TrendDepth publishes research-driven analysis that connects technology, global policy, economics, infrastructure, and financial markets into a broader picture.

The Story Behind TrendDepth

My name is Haseeb Ur Rehman, Founder & Editor of TrendDepth.

I hold a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science (BSCS) and have spent more than a decade working as a software engineer, designing and building enterprise software systems. During those years, I realized that building software was only part of the bigger picture. The technologies we build are constantly influenced by government policy, global supply chains, energy infrastructure, financial markets, and international competition.

Wanting to understand those relationships more deeply, I spent more than two years actively studying and trading global financial markets. I also built my own automated trading infrastructure in Python, integrating it with professional trading APIs to test ideas and observe how markets reacted to real-world events.

That experience changed my perspective. I saw how developments such as technological breakthroughs, geopolitical tensions, supply chain disruptions, monetary policy, and regulatory decisions could influence global markets within minutes. Understanding those underlying forces became far more interesting than the trading itself.

TrendDepth grew from that experience.

Editorial Standards

TrendDepth is an independent publication.

Every article is reviewed by me before publication. I verify sources, evaluate the available evidence, add technical context where appropriate, and aim to present balanced, well-supported analysis rather than opinion-driven commentary.

Accuracy, transparency, and intellectual honesty are the principles that guide every article we publish.
